II V I Chord Progression - Voice Leading: Tabs
/
PDF Tab (incl. notation and chord diagrams)
Guitar Pro files *
The II V I chord progression is essential in jazz. Knowing complete 251 blocks, that already have good voice leading makes life a lot easier. Good voice leading means, that the tones within a chord have to smoothly transition to the next chord, without any big jumps. Also, comping the melody is handled differently than comping the solo.
+ 8 Examples for comping the head and comping the solo.
* You need the Guitar Pro software to open the GP files. Guitar Pro is a software by Arobas Music that plays back written music notation / TABS. I don't sell this software, I just write TABS for it. Those files are a free bonus! If you don't own the Guitar Pro software, just use the PDF Tab instead. It's the SAME notation / TAB.
