Dear Old Stockholm is a beautiful and slightly mysterious jazz standard with strong melodic lines and rich harmony. This chord melody arrangement is inspired by the Eddie Higgins version, played at a relaxed 120 bpm swing feel. But I've also made a slower backing track.
I use a lot of 3-note voicings, that are a powerful tool. They make things easier, while simultaneously creating a better flow. It’s perfect for intermediate players looking to deepen their chord melody skills with elegant voicings, smooth transitions, and a natural sense of flow.
