The Rhythm Changes are a chord progression, that is very popular in Jazz. Every jazz guitarist needs to know them, because numerous songs are based on them. The Rhythm Changes are often called at jazz sessions and only the key is discussed, the rest you need to know.

There are many variations of the Ryhthm Changes. In my lesson you'll learn the one that is mostly used these day. I call it the basic modern variation. The original and most used key is Bb and that's why I use it here too.
