Modern Jazz with the Pentatonic scale
Many Jazz beginners know the Pentatonic scale already. So why not take advantage of what you know already and make it sound jazzier? Pentatonics are also a key element of modern Jazz. Since the pentatonic consists mainly of fourths, we achieve this beautiful modern jazz sound.
In the accompanying video tutorials you’ll learn about pentatonic mixing. This technique provides you with more than just the 5 Pentatonic notes, but lets you still use your old licks or use my freshly new ones, that sound a lot jazzier.
Every Jazzer starts their improvisation skills here. Pentatonic is also essential for Jazz-Blues. This is basic knowledge wrapped into sophisticated Jazz sounds. Give it a try – it’s fun!
* You need the Guitar Pro software to open the GP files. Guitar Pro is a software by Arobas Music that plays back written music notation / TABS. I don't sell this software, I just write TABS for it. Those files are a free bonus! If you don't own the Guitar Pro software, just use the PDF Tab instead. It's the SAME notation / TAB.
